School supplies for over 200 children in Agou-Akplolo

Thanks to a successful fundraising campaign, more than 200 children were provided with school supplies and school backpacks for the new school year.

As the start of the new school year in September 2026 approached, Kossivi’s HOPE e.V. launched a fundraising appeal with the initial goal of collecting €500 to provide around 100 children in need in Agou-Akplolo with essential school supplies.

The support exceeded all expectations: around €1,400 was raised in total. This made it possible to purchase significantly more school supplies than originally planned. Additional school backpacks could also be purchased and distributed to the children locally. In total, the campaign reached more than 200 children.

The distribution took place at the end of August together with our local team and representatives on site in Agou-Akplolo. For us, this campaign shows what is possible when many people come together to make a contribution. We thank all donors who have helped give the children a good start to the new school year.

Sharing hope. Enabling a future.

Visiting Agou-Akplolo

An exchange with the village community, traditional leaders, and schoolchildren about the campus project.

Founder Kossivi Aholy, together with the local project team, visited the community of Agou-Akplolo in Togo to launch the official start of Kossivi's HOPE on site and to present the project to the village community.

Alongside numerous families and children of the village, traditional and political representatives were also present, including kings from several regions, village elders, and members of the regional council. Kossivi was then introduced to the mayor and other representatives of the municipality, who pledged their support for the project.

In addition to the official presentation, children of the community were provided with school supplies and food. The official presentation also received attention in the local media and marked an important first step for Kossivi's HOPE in Agou-Akplolo.
